Curious About Shapes and Colors App Reviews

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app 3 times. I have even run a software update and reinstalled and still cant get the sound to work. My 2 year old seems to enjoy it but it doesnt hold her attention as long as other games since there is no feedback from sounds.

Not a good value. There are plenty of free and less expensive apps that offer this type of gameplay. This app is just riding on the popularity of the Curious George phenomenon. The artwork and voices also are not consistent with the other Curious George media out there, its as if this was produced by a stay at home dad with nothing better to do. My 25 month old solved all of the puzzles within the first 15 minutes of play. The only silver lining to this app is that after the child "assembles" a character by means of an unoriginal matching shapes exercise, they are rewarded by being able to interact with the character in fun ways.

Kiddos play this app over and over and over. Educational and keeps their attention.

Anyone having a sound issue? How do you fix it? There is no sound on this app!

This app will not synch with iPAD. Error on iPad saying "see iTunes".

There is no additional cost for the games. You have to play a game to open another one. Its very creative and there are many activities. My 4 year old son, who is autistic, could not put it down for hours. This is well worth the money and I would recommend it.

My 2 year old loves Curious George but this was the worst App we have purchased. Save your $2.99. There were two games, the rest of the app is locked. The two games took my 2 year old about 3 minutes to master. The interface is nice, the graphics are cool but I was expecting a lot more for a paid App.

Its not my phone that has the problem, its this game! Everything else with sound on my phone works, but I downloaded this game, and it has no sound!?!

This is the first ipad app that I have found for our 4 year old that actually holds her interest and that I feel is truly educational. The man in the yellow hat provides just enough guidance to get my little one started, but enough of a challenge that learning can take place. The graphics, music, and short video are all well done, and unlike another review incorrectly stated - there are no in app purchases to mess with. I would highly recommend this app for any parent looking to teach shapes, colors, logic, and fine motor skills.

The pattern & color matching part of the game is too simple for even a three-year old, but the game controls of some of the mini games are too finicky. Thatd be fine if the app wouldnt crash every time one leaves one of the five boxes to get back to the main menu. For us, the app also crashed after completing the fourth box before being able to enter the mini game. I rebooted the iPad and stopped all other apps to see if that would make a difference, but it didnt. Even if there were no bugs, the other Curious George games are a much better investment, since this one is super short and has very limited replay value.

My 2 year old really likes this game and can play it on my phone just fine. But on the iPod it kicks us out everytime we finish the first level very disappointed because I dont want him playing on my phone all the time. Please fix for iPod touch.....

This is a fabulous app for my two year old son and I to play together. There are several different puzzles, each with a number of tasks to complete that result in the creation of a fun animated toy that you can play a mini game with. Some of the fine motor control skills and pretty much all of the mini games are a little beyond my son right now, but he loves the matching games and he will just sit and watch the intro video over and over at this point lol Its definitely a game he can love now and grow into, which IMO is a great buy! The animation and voice acting are top notch and very reminiscent of the original books, while still being relatable to the newer show. All in all, a very well made app!

WELL worth 3 bucks. Took me nearly 15 minutes to complete. Thats longer than it takes to eat a $3 sandwich! Learned so much! Ive been calling the three sided thing a square this whole time. Who knew it was a triangle! Gosh. Cant wait for the sequel.

Good app and fun for my two year old but no matter what I do the sound wont work.

Save your change! Just bought the app and it keeps crashing!

So far its fun and colorful but I cant figure out how to turn off that maniacal soundtrack.

Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this until they work out the bugs. Every time we open it up and tap the box to begin it kicks us out of the game. Waste of money until fixed.

My 2 yr old loves this game so much that she cries every time it crashes. (every 10 seconds) PLEASE FIX IT ASAP!

I bought this app for my 2-year-old granddaughter. The first game was great but she cant get past the second game of tracing the shapes because if she goes outside the lines, its counted as wrong. Very disappointed with this purchase.
